Stan Trampe - Photographer with a Passion!
Stan came to photography rather late in life, in 1987, inspired by a book called Farber’s Nudes. His claims to fame include his 1999 Amherst Media book “Black & White Nude Photography” and the largest known - to his knowledge- photographic website at www.stantrampe.com. He enjoys infrared photography and teaching workshops. He owned a local gallery in St. Louis for about 6 years but now exhibits on his website. It has approximately 1,500 images in the archive section, and of course includes his new digital work. Stan has a wide repertoire of knowledge, experience and skills in the photographic arts, but has come to focus exclusively on fine art nudes. (Stan always has an interesting story to tell about his near brushes with the law on early morning photo shoots. Just ask him!)
